I’ve said it before, and I’m sure I’ll say it again…I don’t scrap about my husband enough! So today I thought I’d share another page I made in honor of him.
- Design Inspiration: It wasn’t the design inspiration so much as the whole page inspiration. I created this layout for the class I taught for True Scrap 4, All I Really Need to Know About Journaling I Learned in First Grade. This class is full of journaling tips easy enough for a first grade, and fun enough for you to want to try on your next page!
- Color Inspiration: I was inspired by the blue tones in the word stickers as well as my husband’s shirt. So I went with a variety of blues and just a few pops of orange. I just love how the color scheme came together.
Stamping, washi, punches, brads, and a wood venerr man. I don’t think this embellishment cluster could be any happier for me.
My favorite tip for this page? Hand off the journaling to someone else! I created some sentence starters and asked my husband to finish them. I love that I have his thoughts and his handwriting on my page. Just makes me happy!
